Well this year has certainly flown by, I can't believe it is almost Christmas already.
We are finishing our last exhibition of the year at the Harbour Cottage Gallery in Kirkcudbright on Saturday 9th December, so you still have time to pop in and see all the lovely art and crafts and pick up some last minute gifts.
We have enjoyed meeting lot's of you at the various markets and events through out the year, and I would like to say a very big thank you to you all for supporting my art business, it really does mean a lot to me.
I would like to wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas and look forward to the New Year and new beginnings.

April Newsletter

23/04/2023

This month has just flown by, I have been busy with the start of the first events and markets in the local area. Castle Douglas market which is on every 3rd Sunday of the month (next one on may 21st) was a very misty and drizzly day, but lot's of people came by to visit, and it was lovely meeting up with you all, and thank you for the purchases you made at my stall, I really appreciate it.
The next Art Exhibition we are taking part in is the Dumfries & Galloway Fine Art Society at the Harbour cottage Gallery in the picturesque harbour town of Kirkcudbright. It starts on 24th April and is on until 6th May open daily 10.30 am - 4.30 pm. This little gallery sits right by the harbour and you can watch the fishing boats come and go.
I have a special offer on my website shop, I'll be giving away a free Highland cow coaster of "Duncan" with every purchase until May 20th while stocks last, or I will substitute with another design if I run out.
I've also been setting up a shop on Folksy which is for U.K based sellers only, the link is below.

March News

22/03/2023

Hi every one, welcome to the March blog.

This month the colour yellow seems to have featured a lot in my work, perhaps it's because the daffodils are starting to come through and I'm influenced by them as they surround my studio in the garden, also the birds are starting to sing in the morning, and we have a number of Blackbirds flitting about in the bushes and trees. There's definitely a Spring feeling in the air.
I've been starting to plan events for later in the year as well, so keep a look out for news about them later on.
New products have been designed and ordered ready for the start of the season, you can see a couple of new "Happy Anniversary" Tea towels with Belties on, over on my Etsy shop. Click the red link to be taken to my shop.ETSY
